The Osseo Police Department is currently seeking the following positions within our department.

FULL-TIME OFFICER

The Osseo Police Department is hiring for multiple positions for Full Time Police Officers. The City of Osseo is a small city located in a large metro area. The Osseo Police Department is committed to community engagement and outreach, and all of our officers have the opportunity to participate in numerous community events and programs throughout the year.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have earned an associate/technical degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, or equivalent and be MN Post licensed or eligible to be licensed by the date of appointment. Applicants must also possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license. Lateral candidates are encouraged to apply.

POLICE RESERVE OFFICER

The Osseo Police Department is accepting applications for Reserve Police Officer.  Minimum qualifications: Applicants must be interested in law enforcement and willing to volunteer a minimum of 16 hours per month to serve our community.  A qualified applicant will also possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license, pass the selection process, and background investigation. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a way to give back to their community in a meaningful way.  It is also an excellent opportunity for someone beginning a law enforcement career to gain valuable experience in police work.
