Skate Outside!

Osseo provides outdoor skating opportunities at the Osseo Education Center, 324 6th Ave NE (former elementary school).

When the weather turns cold enough, rink attendants will be available and the warming house will be open when weather permits (especially cold, warm or snowy weather might cause closure). Generally, the warming house hours are:

Monday - Thursday  4 - 8 pm
Friday                       4 - 10 pm
Saturday                  10 am - 10 pm
Sunday                     Noon - 8 pm

Rinks are flooded as weather permits.

Youth Sports Programs

Summer sports classes are in the planning stages with Revolutionary Sports to provide evening instructional classes in Osseo in 2019.

Evening Skill Building Classes

Revolutionary Sports leads fun and instruction-based programs that teach participants how to play sports better. RevSports programs maximize the time that a player spends developing individual skills. Programs are offered over a six week (once a week) class format. The program starts with an active, skill-based warm-up; transitions into a fun, more challenging game; and ends with an age-appropriate small-sided scrimmage. Focus is on individual player development and helping each player at their own ability level become more confident with the necessary skills of the game. All ability levels are welcome. Age group overlap allows students to self-select the appropriate program intensity

Separate summer recreation programs are also handled through partner organizations.

The Osseo Maple Grove Athletic Association (Osseo School District) has information on their website.

Hennepin County Library & Friends of the Library present enrichment programs on select Monday afternoons in Osseo. Visit the Library's website or contact the Osseo library for more information and to register for events.
