A GREAT PLACE FOR YOUR EVENT!

Are you looking to rent space for a business meeting, hold an athletic banquet, host a wedding reception or an anniversary celebration? The Osseo Community Center has one large room with windows overlooking beautiful Henry J. Boerboom Veterans Memorial Park, picturesque Central Avenue, and a small outside patio. It has large windows with lots of natural light. Everyone enjoys the space.


With seating capacity of 120, additional tables and chairs are available for other room arrangements. Total number of tables available are 12 - 48" round tables and 8 - 30" x 72" rectangular tables. A total of 140 chairs are available on rolling racks. If additional tables, chairs, etc., for any event, they must be rented from outside sources. There is a small PA system and podium available. No other equipment is provided.

We accept checks payable to City of Osseo or credit card payments (a service fee will be added onto credit cards). Follow this link Osseo Credit Card Payment Form to download and send with your application, if you prefer to pay with a credit card. If you prefer to pay over the phone, please note that on the application with your contact information. Major credit card information must be provided with the application. This card will be used to cover the costs of any damages which exceed the deposit.

During the week, the room can be divided into two spaces:

  • Room A and Room B. Room A (35 x 35 ft) is typically set up with approximately nine round tables, and has access to a small, non-commercial kitchen. 
  • Room B (24 x 35 ft) is set up for forum-style meetings with two rectangular tables with three rows of six chairs facing them. A semi-circular paver patio is attached to Room B.

    Only the entire Community Center is available on the weekends. Room divider is retracted from 11:30 am on Fridays until 7:30 am on Mondays (or after a holiday).

The City Council may set special fees or waive fees for special conditions or circumstances, where the applicant has performed a commensurate service to the City. To request reduced fees, you may submit a fee waiver request to City Staff. The request will be considered at a future City Council meeting.


 


Senior Activities - Senior Games and Bingo

Osseo area seniors meet in the Community Center in City Hall (415 Central Ave, Osseo MN 55369) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays at 12:30 pm, Seniors play 500 and other games, and on Thursdays at 1 pm, to play Bingo.  Contact City Hall, 763-425-2624 for more information.

The City of Osseo shares information about the City of Brooklyn Park and the City of Maple Grove senior programs. It's our goal to connect people together!

Free Exercise Classes

Free Group Fitness Classes at the Osseo Community Center

The Osseo Community Center hosts weekly group fitness classes.  All ability levels are welcome to join any and all classes (age 12 and above).  There is no fee and registration will be handled at class.  Wear comfortable clothes and bring water.

Gentle Yoga

Soothe your mind while gently working your body to tone your muscles and improve flexibility during this one hour yoga class.

Mondays  4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Please bring a towel or a mat. Instructor- Laurie Wolfe, Yoga Alliance RYT-200
 

Senior Strength Chair

A Zen version of the original, combining cardio and strength training for a fun, low impact dance workout set to music.
