Road Projects

The Osseo area is home to several large transportation improvement projects.

Completed--Hwy 169/Co Rd 81/85th Ave N Triangle intersection:  Go to MnDOT website at  http://www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/projects/hwy169triangle/

Completed--Hwy 610 Extension:  The new 610 extension will connect Hwy 169 in Brooklyn Park and Co Rd 81 in Maple Grove.   www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/projects/610/.

Planned--Co Rd 30 at Hwy 169:  This project is planned for 2012 construction.  See this presentation relating to a November 2010 meeting in Osseo about the future project.

Planned--Co Rd 81 Bottineau Blvd:  Hennepin County is doing a phased approach to Bottineau Blvd improvements all the way from Minneapolis to Rogers.  It is not know when construction through Brooklyn Park & Osseo will commence.

Maple Grove Transit System

A commuter express bus system from Maple Grove and Osseo goes to downtown Minneapolis during the a.m. and p.m. rush hour periods.

Dial-A-Ride is an advance reservation, shared-ride, curb-to-curb van service available to all Maple Grove and Osseo residents for travel within the area.

Metro Mobility

Metro Mobility is the metro area's public door-to-door transit service for people with disabilities who are ADA certified, providing rides to most of Hennepin County.
