The Osseo Police Department handles all calls regarding animal complaints in the City of Osseo. Please dial 911 if you have any of the following problems...
- Dog bite report
- Non-domesticated animal complaints (ie. raccoons, fox, coyotes, etc)
- Loose dog / cat
- Found dog / cat
- Barking dogs creating a nuisance
- Animal neglect / abuse
- Vicious dogs or ferile cats.
The Osseo Police Department impounds all found animals at the Hennepin County Humane Society. If your animal has gone missing, or you believe it was impounded by the Osseo Police Department, please call 763.489.2235. The humane society is located at 845 Meadow Lane N. Golden Valley, Minnesota 55422.
Dog Licenses
Dog licenses are now available at the Osseo Police Department! The cost for a dog license in the City of Osseo is $5.00. Please see Administrative Assistant Heilman at the Police Department to obtain a license for your animal!
ATTENTION: After April 15th, 2010, all dog licenses will cost $10.00 with the exception for new dogs.
